What we do
Sydney University Law Society (‘SULS’) aims to enrich the law student experience. It is the primary association for students studying law at The University of Sydney and is officially associated with the Faculty of Law.
SULS provides the law school community with a variety of events, activities and programs, including social events, educational support, mooting and skills competitions, careers events, sporting functions and initiatives that inspire students to use the law as an instrument for social change.

Sydney University Law Society acknowledges the traditional owners of the land that The University of Sydney is built upon, the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation.
We acknowledge that this was and always will be Aboriginal land. We are proud to be on the lands of one of the oldest surviving cultures in existence. We respect the knowledge that traditional Elders and Aboriginal people hold and pass on from generation to generation.
We acknowledge the ongoing fight for constitutional reform and treaty recognition. We regret that racial discrimination, arising from colonial rule, has been used to justify dispossession of Indigenous land, socioeconomic repression of Indigenous people and the creation of a legal system that still to this day does not provide Indigenous Australians with equal access to justice.
